About Us

For me, working with wine is a great passion. Following my dream from an early age I gained practical experience working at Houghton Winery (Western Australia's Largest Winery at that time), in their state-of-the-art winery making 4 million litres of wine per year. This involved all aspects of the winemaking process, including running the crusher on 'night shift' from 7pm and 7am! On the other side of the coin I worked a ventage (harvest) at Chateau Montlabert (St Emilion) and Louis Latour (Aloxe Corton, Burgundy) which gave me an insight into the traditional wine making methods.

In 1994, after working for four different UK wine merchants I founded Bon Coeur Fine Wines. We are a small, private company with offices and warehouses in London and Yorkshire. Our customers range from top country hotels and local pubs to fine wine collectors and private households. One thing all our customers have in common is that they want good wine at a good price (value for money). Everything we list is tasted and carefully selected to ensure we offer good quality wine at a competitive price.

Bon Coeur Fine Wines continues to be independent, we do not act as an Agent for any wines, therefore we are able to offer what we believe, are the very best wines, year after year.
