We are delighted to invite you to our summer tasting at Moor Park where you’ll have the opportunity discover some fantastic new wines including the new 2016 Rose vintage, old favourites as well as our special selections for the upcoming Great British Summer. Learn about some great summer food and wine pairings as well as what’s hot in terms of cocktails and spirits for 2017!

Monday 16th, 23rd and 30th October 2017 – WSET Level 2 Award in Wine and Sprirts (3 Day Course)

If you are interested in gaining an excellent all-round knowledge of wine types and styles and their production, would love to be able to decode a wine label, confidently select, store and serve wine, as well as understand the principles of wine tasting and evaluation, then don't miss our 3 day course.
We have teamed up with Laura at 'Inside the Bottle' to bring you Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET)Level 2 course at Moor Park. WSET is generally regarded as the world's leading provider of wine education and this 3 day course will see successful candidates leaving with a Level 2 Award in Wines and Spirits and assumes no previous knowledge. Laura has been working in the drinks trade for 13 years and began teaching 4 years ago. She is currently studying toward her WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines and Spirits which is seen universally as the stepping-stone to the Master of Wine qualification. She has an infectious enthusiasm for all things wine and believes, “Wine should be fun, and learning about it should be entertaining and engaging.
Ideal for private clients looking to expand their knowledge, or those in the wine trade, this is a perfect way to learn more about wines and spirits. More details of what is covered in the course can be found here.
The course is being held over 3 days on Monday 16th, 23rd and 30th October 2017 and the cost is £365 per person which includes your study pack, all sample wines, additional materials produced by Inside the Bottle and the exam as well as refreshments and a sandwich lunch. Free parking is available at Moor Park.
