Founded in the 15th century, Chateau de Pez lies in the western area of Saint-Estephe, on 30 hectares of intensively planted slopes, facing north. hand harveting is the norm here, and the wine is aged for around 18 months in wooden barriques. Chateau Le Pez is a very attractive wine, generally made from equal parts Cabernet Suvignon and Merlot, and is a highly regarded Bordeaux producer.
