Chateau Gigault is located in the appellation of Cotes de Blaye, Bordeaux. The 18th century estate has 14 hectares of vines, and produces around 6000 cases across two wines - Chateau Gigault Cuvee Viva and Chateau Gigault. Ageing takes place in one-third new oak, and results in Merlot dominant wines with rich, soft red-fruit character and well integrated oak. A very strong contender from a region with great potential.
