Chateau Puy Garance

Chateau Puy Garance, an ancient convent originally from the 15th century, is located on the plateau of the south slope of Belvès, in the Dordogne region. The property was taken over in 2011 by the Bockmeulen family, who after many years living in South America, fell in love with this château. Today they inspire a new momentum of modernity, while keeping the previous owner, Frédéric Burriel, in charge of the technical direction of the estate. With limestone/clay soils making up the vineyards, Merlot is the main variety used in the wines here, with a touch of Cabernet SAuvignon and Cabernet Franc adding body and structure.
