Chateau Rauzan-Gassies is a left bank chateau located in Margaux, Bordeaux. With the prestige of Second Growth status behind it the estate has an enviable reputation for high quality Cabernet Sauvignon dominated Bordeaux blends. Owned by the Quie family, the estate has 28 hectares under vine, with annual production at 80,000 bottles.The vineyards are planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc on deep gravel and sand soils.
