Chateau Robin
Chateau Robin is located in Cotes de Castillon, on the right bank of Bordeaux, France. The 12.5 hectare vineyard is split into eight plots on clay and limestone soils. Six of the plots are planted with Merlot and two plots are planted with Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines have an average age of 40 years. Current winemaker Jerome Caille upped sticks from the tropical paradise of Mauritius in 2003 when his family took over the estate - his decision is reflective of the entire estate - commitment, dedication and no fear of change.
