A domaine that needs little introduction founded by Joseph Drouhin 130 years ago. One of the biggest Burgundy domaines with 73 hectares under vine, it is currently under the stewardship of the fourth generation of the Drouhin family. The domaine continues to be run under a philosophy of `culture raisonnee`, which avoids the use of pesticides and other chemicals. Uniquely, the Drouhins have also built a laboratory of enology run by Laurence Jobard, the first female oenologist in Burgundy. The wines of Joseph Drouhin are renowned for their consistent, excellent quality.
