Warres was established around 1670 and produces sweet and spicy, full bodied Port that is well balanced and highly age-worthy. For more than three hundred years Warre`s has produced some of the greatest Ports ever made and has played a leading role in the history of this great wine. Warres developed the ground-breaking robotic treaders that took over manual treading of the grapes to extract the juice. They have established an innovative experimental vineyard, placing the company in the forefront of viticultural research and winemaking technology.
