Marlborough - New Zealand

Marlborough

Marlborough, arguably New Zealand’s most famous wine region, is located upon the north eastern tip of South Island. The location boasts both the greatest size of any New Zealand growing area (representing 62% of the country’s total vineyard areas) and the greatest production. The fertile soil of Marlborough makes it perfect for growing grapes and the combination of sunny, dry days and cool nights provides a long growing season which helps give the wines their vibrant flavours. The main grapes from this region are Sauvignon BlancRieslingPinot Noir and Chardonnay.. We have lovely wines from various producers in Marlborough, including Wild Rock, Hidden Bay, Cloudy Bay and Babich.
