Jacques Boncoeur 2005 Wins Gold Medal
We are delighted to announce that our Jacques Boncoeur 2005 Vintage Champagne has won GOLD in the International Wine Challenge 2017.
A most coveted award in the wine world, this is the first time Bon Coeur has won Gold. The International Wine Challenge is one of the world’s most highly respected and influential wine competitions, attracting entries from all over the world, blind tasted by a panel of wine experts including many acclaimed Masters of Wine. Our Jacques Boncoeur Rose Champagne won a bronze medal and our Jacques Boncoeur Brut Reserve Champagne was commended.
Jacques Boncoeur Vintage Champagne 2005
Made from 56% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardoanny, Jacques Boncoeur Vintage 2005. Launched two years ago to celebrate our 21st birthday, the blend was specially selected by James Goodhart at the winery and laid down for ten years prior to release.
A fine elegant mousse, an abundance of flavour with toasty undertones and hazelnut highlights. Pure, well balanced, creamy seductive mid palate, rich biscuit characters and honeycomb notes with a generous powerful finish.
