Blanc de Blancs Champagne

This literally means ‘white of whites’ and is Champagne made from white grapes only. The majority of Blanc de Blancs Champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay but the rare exceptions include Arbane, Pinot Blanc and Petit Meslier which are also permitted in the region. This style will usually be lighter in body than a Blanc de Noirs but is far more complex and age worthy.
