Other Popular Regions

In the last decade there has been a surge of interest in lots of other fine wine regions around the world due to huge improvements in viticulture and vinification practices. There has also been big investment into research and development of regional Terroir which has led to the consistent production of better quality wines. Burgundy and Bordeaux followed by Rhone and Champagne are still the leaders of the fine wine market but many wines from Italy (Barolo, Brunello), Spain (Rioja, Ribera) and New World wine producing countries like Chile, Argentina (Mendoza), USA and Australia (Margaret River) are now producing world class fine wines.
