Rose Wine
Fine Rose wine is a category that represents the finest quality rose wines from their respective regions. The majority of the wines in this category come from the Provence region in France which is well known for the highest quality rose production. The term ‘fine wine’ is subjective rather than objective and often depends on who you ask. However, in general, a fine wine is one of exceptional quality. These wines are usually hand crafted and will demonstrate a sense of place, reflecting the environment where the grapes have been grown. They will be elegant, well balanced with subtle complexity. The majority of rose wines are not intended for further aging, they will not improve in the bottle and should be consumed and enjoyed within a year or two of the vintage.
