Moscatel
Moscatel
Moscatel is the name given to the Muscat grape in Spain and Portugal and is the world`s oldest known variety of grape. Muscat grapes vary in colour and can range from white to almost black. Ironically it is one of the only varieties that produce wines that taste of grapes. Highly aromatic, Muscat can produce a range of wines from pale, bone-dry whites, through to golden-yellow, rich, sweet wines, and low-alcohol sparklers. Muscat grapes are widely grown, particularly in France, Italy, Spain and Australia.
