Savignan

Savignan
Savignan is a high-quality white wine grape cultivated almost exclusively in the Jura region of eastern France. It is used to create crisp, dry white wines as well as Vin Jaune, a oxidative Sherry-like wine with a nutty aroma, and Vin de Paille, a sweet wine made from grapes left to dry on straw mats, known as paille. The grape is also found in Switzerland and Australia, where is used to make refreshing, easy-drinking wines.
