Trebbiano
Trebbiano
Trebbiano is another name for Ugni Blanc, a white wine grape variety originating in the South East Mediterranean. It is high-yielding and Italy still has extensive plantings of the grape, accounting for over half of the white wines in the country. As Ugni Blanc It it is a major component in Armagnac and Cognac that benefit from its high acidity and neutral flavours. It has aromas and flavours of citrus fruits and almonds.
