In the Maipo region of Chile, Domaine Baron Philippe de Rothschild (Mouton), have set up several wine producing ventures which include the Mapu and Escudo ranges. The Mapu wines offer excellent value along with rigorous parcel-by-parcel selection, attentive vineyard work and all the expertise that comes with Mouton Rothschild. The Mapu Merlot is one of our top selling wines, while the Escudo Rojo red is Mouton Rothschild`s equivalent of a Chilean Grande Reserve.
