Belamandil is located 10 kilometres from Faro in southern Portugal, where their excellent fleur de sel is harvested by hand from the centuries-old salt pans. The salt workers, known locally as marnotos, use traditional methods to collect these delicate crystals that are revered by top chefs around the world.
