Cave de Lugny
Cave de Lugny
A co-operative in all senses of the word, Cave de Lugny receives grapes from 250 estates extending over 21 communities. The co-op counts 1,450 hectares of vines, or nearly 15 square kilometres, surrounding the Cave. Predominately planted in Chardonnay, with an allocation of Pinot Noir and small parcels of Gamay and Aligote, Cave Lugny produces 16 different Burgundy appellation wines and has control over most of the wines produced in the villages of Lugny and St Gengoux-de-Scisse. At its creation the co-operative had 116 members and today numbers more than 400.
