Cave Saint Verny is the only wine co-operative in the Auvergne region of France. The co-op takes it`s name from Saint Verny (also known as Saint Werner). Produced in the Auvergne wine region within the Loire Valley bang in the middle of France it is the largest volcanic area in Europe and is located on the same latitude as Bordeaux. The vines enjoy a high altitude position (1,000 feet above sea level) and a cool climate, with the terroir heavily influenced by the volcanic soils of the region.
