Chateau Beau-Sejour Becot
Beau-Séjour Bécot is a Premier Grand Cru Classé estate that shows off its excellent terroir admirably. It is located to the west of Saint-Emilion, on limestone soils similar to those found at Château Ausone. The estate has had a rather turbulent past, losing and regaining its 1er Grand Cru status, though it is now one of the leading Grand Cru Classés in the appellation. It has been owned by the Bécot family since 1969, who added their name to the estates title.
