Chateau Beaumont is a Cru Bourgeois property in the Haut Medoc appellation of Bordeaux, France. The 2nd wine produced at this estate, Chateau d`Avrigny offers great value for money. The estate has 114 hectares under vine, planted with 54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot and 4% Petit Verdot. Production at Chateau Beaumont is 480,000 bottles which are aged in 30% new barrels for 14 months. Chateau Beaumont is committed to sustainable viticulture and they obtained certification for this in 2004 from the Terra Vitis Organisation.
