Chateau Bernadotte
Chateau Bernadotte
Chateau Bernadotte is located in the Haut Medoc appellation of Bordeaux. The soils of the vineyard are mainly gravelly and sandy, that are naturally well drained with an important degree of clay in depth. The grapes grown at Chateau Bernadotte are 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot. The Merlot gives the wines a more supple and fruity structure while the Cabernet Sauvignon provides the body to the wine. A seasoning of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot give the wines their freshness and complexity.
