Chateau Coutet
Chateau Coutet is located in Barsac in the Bordeaux wine region. It is the oldest and largest estate in Barsac with 38.5 hectares. The estate is under the management of the Baly family as well as the technical and commercial collaboration of the Baron Philippe de Rothschild S.A. company. The soils are clay with a limestone sub-soil with Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle growing on them. The average age of the vines is around 38 years old with a plantation density of 7,500 vines per hectare.
