Chateau Croizet-Bages
Chateau Croizet-Bages
Chateau Croizet-Bages is a classic left bank Bordeaux fifth growth Chateau in Pauillac. First established by the Croizet brothers in the early part of the 18th century, Croizet Bages has been under the custodianship of its current owners, the Quie family, since 1942. The 30-hectare vineyard is typical of the Medoc with soils of gravel, sand and iron. Chateau Croizet-Bages vineyards are planted to 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc. On average, the vines are 35 years old and produce typical, expressive Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant Bordeaux blends.
