With a history stretching back over 900 years, Chateau d`Arsac is considered on of the oldest estates in the Medoc. 54 hectares of vines are classified AOC Margaux, whilke the remainder are AOC Haut-Medoc. After years of neglect and the estate being left to the earth Phillipe Raoux purchased the property in 1986 and set about renovating and restoring it to its former glory. Today Chateau d`Arsac has three signature wines - Chateau d`Arsac from the estate`s Margaux vineyards, Chateau Le Monteil d`Arsac from the estate`s Haut-Medoc vineyards and the Sauvignon Blanc based white Chateau d`Arsac Cuvee Celine.
