Located in the heart of Provence, not far from the millionaires’ playground of St. Tropez, Chateau d’Esclans is one of the world’s best-known producers of salmon-pink, premium rose wines. Under the direction of Sacha Lichine since 2006, d’Esclans uses old-vine Grenache taken from the elevated vineyard and blends with Vermentino, creating fresh, spicy and fruit forward rose, alongside some red and white wines. Its Whispering Angel brand has received acclaim from all corners, and many regard it as the best rose on earth.
