Chateau Durfort-Vivens
Chateau Durfort-Vivens
A property with a long history, owned by the Lurton family since 1961, Chateau Dufort-Vivens is the only classified growth that is worked biodynamically and released its first vintage in this fashion in 2013. The vineyards are planted predominantly to Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, on gravel, sand and clay. The finished wine often contains over 80 percent Cabernet Sauvignon, which is one of the highest ratios in the Medoc.
