Chateau Haut-Bailly
Chateau Haut-Bailly
With a reputation stretching back to the 19th century, Chateau Haut-Bailly has only seen its standing enhanced following its sale in 1998 to Robert Wilmers, an American banker who followed though on his `foolhardy dream` of owning a Bordeaux chateau. With just over 33 hectares in the right bank appellation of Pessac-Leognan dedicated to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, this famous estate makes wine of highly consistent quality, power, freshness and structure. One for the cellar, and one to impress.
