Chateau l’Eglise Clinet is located in the Pomerol appellation of Bordeaux and was brought under the custodianship of current owner-winemaker Denis Durantou in 1983. Off the beaten track, and with a rustic look that defies its consistently excellent quality and value, this a real hidden gem of an estate. With a blend heavily reliant on Merlot, and seasoned each vintage with small amounts of Cabernet Franc these are refined wines with great structure and complexity, that only get fuller and richer with age.
