The Premier Cru Classe estate of Chateau Lafaurie-Peyraguey is located in Sauternes, Bordeaux. The 41 hectare estate is situated on the plateau and high terraces and grape ripening benefits from its southern exposure. The gravelly soil and clay base assist in providing the perfect conditions for making sweet wines. The grapes grown on the estate are typically Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. All harvesting is done by hand, and completed in a thoroughly modernised winery.
