Ancient Roman pottery found on the site of this 25 hectare Pomerol property have indicated to archaeologists that a Roman villa was located here in the third century and it is likely that vines would have also been planted on this very old site. Under the custodianship of Alan Moueix, who has brought his considerable Right Bank expertise to Mazeyres, the property is now fully biodynamic and produces pure, clean and elegant wines of exceptional quality.
