Chateau Monbrison is located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux, France. Laurent Vonderheyden has been in charge of the estate for the past twenty years and has transformed the chateau to produce one of the leading wines in its appellation. The estate has over 18 hectares under vine, planted with 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 21% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot. The soils are made up of Pyrenean gravel and the wines of Chateau Monbrison reflect this superb terroir which is the epitome of great Margaux.
