Chateau Moulin Saint-Georges
Chateau Moulin Saint-Georges
Chateau Moulin Saint-Georges is located in the Saint-Emilion appellation of the Bordeaux wine region, and is owned by the Vauthier family. There are just over seven hectares of planted vineyards with 66% Merlot and the remaining 34% a mixture of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The vineyards are planted on a south west facing slope known as the Pavie slope. The yields of the fruit are purposefully kept low and the grapes are picked by hand during the harvest. Wines are matured for 15-20 months in 100% new oak barrels.
