Chateau Moulinet-Lasserre
Chateau Moulinet-Lasserre
The sister property of Clos Rene, the Pomerol estate Chateau Moulinet-Lassere takes its name from the piece of land upon which the vineyards sit on the western side of the appellation and its owner from 1940-1982, Pierre Lasserre. Pierre’s grandson Jean-Marie has managed the property since and the gravelly vineyard is planted to 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 10% Malbec. Wines are rich and full, with beautifully integrated tannin and aromatic complexity.
