Chateau Nenin

Chateau Nenin is located in the commune of Pomerol on the right bank of the Bordeaux wine region. As for all wine produced in this appellation, Chateau Nenin is unclassified but the estate is highly-esteemed as one of the great chateaux of the region. The estate has belonged to Jean-Hubert Delon since 1997 when he bought it off his cousins, the Despujol family, who owned the estate since 1847. Chateau Nenin has 32 hectares of vines, which is a large vineyard size in an appellation where most vineyards do not exceed 10 hectares. The grape varieties grown at Chateu Nenin are 78% Merlot, 21% Cabernet Franc and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon.
