Chateau Palmer
Chateau Palmer
Chateau Palmer is located in the Margaux appellation of Bordeaux in France. The vineyards cover 55 hectares with most of the plots concentrated on a plateau of thin gravelly soil overlooking the river, spreading out around the chateau. Two Bordeaux families - Sichel and Mähler-Besse - have owned Chateau Palmer since 1938, passing down a tradition of excellence from generation to generation and developing their skills and passion for wine along the way. The vineyard is made up of equal amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with smaller plantings of Petit Verdot to complete the blend.
