Chateau Potensac

Chateau Potensac is a leading Cru Bourgeois estate in the Medoc appellation of Bordeaux. The estate consists of 50 hectares of vineyards made up of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc. Planted on soils rich in alluvial gravel and red clay, the vines have an average age of around 35 years. The grapes are hand picked during harvest then vinified in concrete and stainless steel tanks. The wine is then matured in 20% new oak barrels for around 14 -16 months.
