Chateau Tour St Bonnet

Chateau Tour St Bonnet

Chateau Tour St Bonnet is a well renowned Cru Bourgeois estate in the Medoc appellation of Bordeaux. The 40 hectares under vine is planted with 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Malbec which have an average age of 35 years. Jacques Merlet who runs the estate prefers to age the wines for 18 months in large oak foudres rather than in the new wood barrels that give the accompanying vanilla flavours.
