Chateau Trimoulet
Chateau Trimoulet
Chateau Trimoulet is a small, relatively unknown Saint-Emilion and is still in the hands of the Jean family, who established the estate in 1802. The 15 hectares of vines are planted to 60% Merlot, 35% Cabernet Franc, and a smattering of Cabernet Sauvignon and the wines are aged in 75% new French oak for up to 12 months. Like many Saint-Emilion properties, Trimoulet has seen an uplift in quality since the turn of the century and the wines are well-structured and rich with fleshy fruit.
