Cobalte Grape Vodka, NV

Terroir driven grape vodka. Every year, after several months of patient work by the wine-growers in the Champagne region, everything begins in the autumn for Cobalte. When grapes are harvested by hand after reaching the perfect ripeness, pressing follows in whole bunches. Winemakers play a key role in the selection of vintages and grape varieties. The selected grape musts are then fermented and distilled no less than five times in a traditional pot still. Final distillate is ultimately reduced with spring water for purity and freshness.

The three classic champagne grape varieties play a pivotal role here. Pinot Noir brings body and power. Chardonnay offers delicacy, floral, citrus notes, and minerality. Pinot Meunier provides suppleness, fruitiness, roundness. Expect Green grape, creamy vanilla, buttercups, fresh spearmint and nettle flowers on the nose, with a pure, clean palate that has a chalky texture and herbal freshness.
