Domaine Chatelain
This is one of the great domaines of the Loire, founded in 1630 and representing 12 generations of family stewardship and cultivation. Today it encompasses 30 hectares of vineyards spread across six of the seven towns of the region. Jean-Claude Chatelain, together with his son Vincent currently oversee the domaine and make a range of white wines from some of the most well-known Loire appellations - Pouilly Fume and Sancerre included. This is fantastic varietal white wine from the masters of getting the most out of the slow-ripening Sauvignon Blanc grape.
