Domaines Schlumberger is a family-run vineyard established in 1810. The estate is located in Alsace, in the east of France and is currently run by the sixth and seventh generations of the Schlumberger family. From small beginnings of 20 hectares of vines the domaine now measures 140 hectares of vines with 70 hectares classified as Grands Crus. Domaines Schlumberger respect the environment and continue to plough and work the vineyards with a team of four horses. They respect sustainable faming and 30 hectares is used for biodynamic viticulture to ensure great quality wines for the future to come. The vineyard has an exceptional location, situated on the slope of the Vosges, benefitting from the best exposures on very steep slopes. Vines grown at Domaines Schlumberger include Pinot Gris, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir and Muscat.
