Dominio de Pingus was founded by Peter Sisseck in 1995 in the sleepy village of Quintanilla de Onésimo near Valladolid, Ribera del Duero. Sisseck has since been on a crusade to produce Spain`s finest wines from his excellent, ancient head-pruned Tinta Fina (a.k.a Tempranillo) vines with his two wines; Pingus and Flor de Pingus.
