Finca Constancia
Finca Constancia
Finca Constancia is the new face of Spanish winemaking where by identifying a need for modern, fruit-driven wines, together with an ambition to produce wines of the highest quality, the company researched areas where this goal could be realised. After years of searching for the right place, a 220 hectare property in Otero near Toledo was purchased, and in 2001 the planting programme began on 79 separate parcels that host a number of grape varieties (both native and international), such as Chardonnay, Verdejo, and Sauvignon Blanc as well as Tempranillo, Graciano and Cabernet Sauvignon. With a label that pays tribute to the first hot air balloon flight in Spain in 1783, as a show for the Royal Court of King Carlos III, the Montado wines are an adventure in enjoyable vibrant, easy-drinking and enjoyable wines.
