Finca Moncloa
On the route of the ‘Pueblos Blancos’ in Andalucia, Arcos de la Frontera is known as one of the most beautiful towns in southern Spain. The area is generally associated with Sherry production; however, it has a long-forgotten tradition of making red wines, with records dating back to the 14th century. Famed Sherry producer, González Byass, recognised the quality potential of the grapes from the area and in 2000 they bought the 17 hectare estate. The combination of its clay and limestone soils with its warm, Mediterranean climate, produces rich, ripe, and intense wines.
