Guigal
Guigal
With wines that need very little introduction, Guigal remains a family-run third generation business and is recognised all over the world. Founded in 1946 by Etienne Guigal, who made a staggering 67 vintages, the winery is situated in the ancient village of Ampuis. Guigal makes wines taken from grapes in both the northern and southern Rhone Valley and ages these wines in the large cellars on-site at the winery. The methods of viticulture are always in keeping with respect for the terroir and the growing environment. The wines are aged in oak barrels with their best wines in the cellar ageing in 100 percent new oak.
