La Fleur de Bouard

La Fleur de Bouard

La Fleur de Bouard is owned by Hubert de Bouard de Laforest. The estate is located in Lalande de Pomerol, an appellation on the right bank of Bordeaux in France. The 25 hectare estate has vine plantings on two different soils and the grape varieties planted extend to 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, a ratio that is reflected in the finished blend. The inaugral vintage under the current ownership in 2000 received critical acclaim with 99 points from Robert Parker, and has continued to produce exceptional wines ever since.
