South Africa`s Meerlust Estate was established in 1756 by the Myburgh family and has been in their family ever since. Located just fifteen kilometres south of Stellenbosch and five kilometres from False Bay, Meerlust Estate is uniquely positioned for the production of wines with exceptional complexity and character. The slow ripening grapes achieve a full, concentrated flavour. With 110 hectares planted under vine grapes grown include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Pinot Noir.
